Wash thoroughly and remove all sea debris. Repeat 6 times before soaking.
Soak in distilled water up to 8 hours before using. Water must be at least 3 inches above the sea moss. Keep in mind, sea moss will expand 3 to 4 times it’s original size during the soaking process.
Decoction: Add 5 to 10 grams of dried seaweed to each large cup of spring water and gently simmer for 20 minutes. Do not strain. Half a cup can be eaten with a spoon up to three times daily.
Diet: Use of the powder to thicken soups and jellies and for inclusion in recipes requiring a thickener.
